A bakery that
rose slowly.
Like the dough, the business wasn't rushed. Here's how it got from a market table to a shop on Friday Street.
Eight years in a kitchen
Cooking in a local wholefood café.
A new challenge
Leaving that job to build a business with a partner, side by side.
Soup and a few loaves
A hot pan of soup and some sourdough, taken to Minehead Farmers Market.
A shop, and still the market
8 Friday Street, Thursday to Saturday, and The Parade every Friday morning.

Flour, water, salt,
and patience.
Naturally leavened bread needs no shortcuts, just a starter and time. Everything here is shaped by hand, with local and organic ingredients where they can be found.
The bakery has also run beginners' sourdough baking sessions. Ask in the shop or by email if you'd like to learn.
